hi guys. I got the kit for my 883 2 years ago. ran great. Just installed a 1200 upgrade, and going up on jet sizes and ordered a 1200 needle. I can't see or measure any difference between the two. whats the difference? thanks, Dave.
Also, should I be changing any thing else? Should I just get a whole new kit for 1200?

Just from reading information posted on this forum, the difference is in the taper on the needle. Also, I did the 1200 upgrade on my ride as well and I changed the pilot and the main jet. I used a 46 and a 185. Hope this helps.

The differences in needles are very subtitle. There is a more dramatic difference in the 1200 needle designed for the 2004-06 models because of the difference in heads (Buell XB heads) so don't use the 04-06 1200 version needle unless you changed out to these heads.
