Just rebuilt my CV carb, put a lot of the parts in toxic carb cleaner cans.
The bike starts good with choke on, warms up and push choke off, idle comes down,,,but the the bike starts loading up within seconds. I have been thru this carb 6 times in last 3 weeks checking everything, rejetting, new needles, new air screw and packing. ALWAYS the same loads up after 10 to 15 seconds of running....I am ready to give up and buy a new:banghead: carb....Any Ideas...Thanks

I'd go back over it, you may have pinched the rubber seal
or got something in the wrong order

Took a few tmes for me, too, when I rebuilt mine. Most common problems: pinched diaphram, needle jet upside down as Lucifer says. If you rebuilt with CV Performance parts, sometimes they aren't compatable with certain other parts. Vacuum hole in slide shouldn't be any larger than 7/64", if I remember correctly. Keep trying.

you did not ruin it make sure the neddle and seat are clean and tight . and also that the float is not heavy and allowing fuel to flow past the seat when the bowls full. needle jet upside down is the most common problem

Also, If you did pinch the diaphragm make sure to check it for cuts or tears.

I'm confused on the needle and seat possibly upside down.
The main jet needle no way it can be upside down. The float needle hooks to the float tab. and the needle under the fuel pump spray bar..put point down.
as normal I am probably missing something here. Taking carb off now and will blow thru all orfices and check everything again..
THANKS for the ideas and Help.
