I'm going to add an additional fuse panel to the bike to keep from over crowding the positive post on the battery and came across this one.

Anyone ever use it or hear much about it.

I like that. I haven't used it personally but it sure looks a lot better than the cluster of breakers I have on the sportster (yeah yeah, the one I haven't finished).

The only thing that might not work for you is the fact that its Beaver Power and not Duck Power.

Yup, just figured I'd nudge ya a little comparin the Beavers to the Ducks.

Anyway let me know if you pick up one of those. That would sure clean things up on the bike I'm working on.

It looks like a good way to go and a good way to have a nice clean look.

I understand about the Beavers football team :) and would be flying their colors if they were in the national playoffs. I sure hope the ducks don't fumble and embarrass us all. :D

I recently put one on my VTX 1300. I looked at this model, but chose to buy a 6 fuse panel at Advanced Auto parts store. Was smaller and fit where I wanted to place the fuse panel. I mounted mine in the waterproof tool box on my VTX.

I you are planning on mounting it where water may be a problem, then go to wal-mart and find a plastic jig or worm box some other waterproof fit that fits the fuse block. Drill a hole or two where the wires enter and exit the box and you are ready to go. Add wiring as you need it. Total cost about $30. plus a little time. If the pc-8 fits your selected spot to mount on your bike, then go for it.

My problem was that the PC-8 unit was just too big.
Also, I used a relay to make my fuse box switch-on hot only.
Installing a ground block (about $3 elect. dept Lowe's) also worked well from me. Keeps all the ground wires off the battery terminal.

With some shrink tubing you can make a very professional wiring harness.

also when you to the box as suggested
check with ACe Hardware for rubber grommets
be sure to make the hole size one you can
fit with the rubber grommet and still get the
wires through, you want it to seal as much as possible

Put plenty of Dielectric grease on the fuses and connections
down here we get salty air, and corrosion is a problem..

But water and metal just don't go together well..

Yep, don't have the salt air here but there's plenty of moisture. Sometimes during the winter months I've told the wife that I feel like I'm living in a fish bowl when I get tired of all the rain. Oh well, better than JB's snow.

Think I'll check out the auto parts store before ordering one. Hate ordering when I can just go pick one up.

Went down into the lungs and bad sinus infection so gotta be more careful because of the heart disease. So have not done anything yet. Supposed to do the Polar Bear run this Saturday but its looking kinda slim. :(

Went to the Docs the other day and go the antibiotics and doing much better now.

Went to a auto parts store and picked up a 6 fuse holder. Mounted it with Velcro to the rear fender under the seat area underneath where the HD back rest mount is attached. I fused it from the battery to the fuse holder. Each power point will only have power to it if a fuse is in place so no problem with the blank ones. Hooked it up to the heated jacket lines and road the bike works great. Its actually an easy spot to get to once the seat is removed and will have no problems with shorting out where the power in line is attached. I put a cap on it with a tie wrap to hold it in place.
Sorry about the picture I took it with my Iphone.
