    hi everyone i am soon 17 and have bought a 125cc supermoto, it is chinese the make is lifan and the model is edge, anyway the bike is brand new with nit even 1mile in the clock but my gear lever is a bit hard to get it into 2,3,4, snd 5 gear also its hard to find neutral in order to get the bike into neutral i have to turn the bike off and then turn the key again and put it into neutral before turning the bike, can someone please please please help me it would be greatly appreciated many thanks daniel.

    Welcome Dj if the bike is full of oil the clutch sounds like it needs adjustment

    If you got the bike from a dealer, maybe they will adjust the clutch for you. If not, check your owner's manual. It may have some instructions on how to adjust the clutch. It's not hard to do . . . and welcome to the forum, Daniel.
    Oh, and like Cowboy said - make sure you have oil in it!

    I have read my owners manual, it says the clutch should have 10-20mm freeplay, so i have adjusted it because it had no freeplay at all and it still happens, i find it easy to send it through the gears when it isnt running but the gear lever feels stiff when its running and i try to go through the gears with it, do you have any more suggestions, thanks for commenting :D

    DJ theres two places to adj the clutch , one at handle bars/clutch lever , the other will be at the engine where the cable goes into it ,follow the cable down to where it drops into the engine & you'll see two nuts on the cable , also if the bike is new call your dealer & ask them it should be covered
