LGS had a demo day today, sign up and fire several of the M&P products

    shot the following

M&P Pro Series 9mm - Unbelievably sweet gun, fantastic trigger low recoil it is as the articles say a Polymer 1911, grips just like the real deal, lighter of course and unreal accurate, Peppered the 10 ring with all 5 free shots...

It's now on the list... and on sale, if you are thinking 1911 and like polymer and want a lighter gun, check out the Pro series, it comes in 40 as well if you get the chance, shoot one.

M&P Shield in 9mm - OK this was a great little pocket 9 been getting rave reviews, bit larger than a typical pocket 380 but it's a 9, very accurate, nice trigger, it has an external safety which I am not a fan of on a defensive gun and the biggest drawback, however the ergo's are nice and the trigger is good, shoots nicely.

M&P 22, new addition to M&P line, I like it, well so much I went on and bought one, super trigger for a 22 pistol, holds 12 rounds, and has similar feel of the Pro the grip is larger and the frame larger, close to a compact size 22, light weight. Trigger is very good and it's quite accurate out of the box, hit the 10 ring consistently, I have been shooting my Sig Mosquito and it is heavier, a bit more solid just like all Sigs, but the M&P doesnt need mini mags as a sole diet like the Sig. Normally $469 got it for $349 at the sale, couldn't pass it up as it fits my paws very well. Again if you get the opportunity to try one and you like 22 plinking I think you'll like it as well

The reason I went up was to pick up a small S&W revolver on sale, you had your choice of 642 442 and two others. This is going to be a gift for my daughter she likes the revolver over the pistols and wants a small carry gun, she got her CCP and the wife gave the green light. So needless to say we got there at the opening bell and I picked up the 442 which is a 38 and it's a nice revolver and the 442 has a completely hidden hammer, nothing exposed which will be perfect for her purse, nothing can fall into it and it's full DA.. Of course it will need some break in use to assure I've got a good one, guess I'll be forced to put 100 rounds though it next week LOL

I don't think I should go back up, they have the 9 pro on sale, no I can't do that have something else ordered that will be in on Tues.

Casselberry had the MP this weekend, they have stores in Tampa, Clearwater, Miami and Lakeland.

The Apopka store will be having the MP day in the next 30 days so watch for it.

Was just up at one of the LGS and they actually have a XD XDS in stock for 499. I'm really looking for a Shield in 40. They conceal and carry very well. M&P are some really nice guns.

Shot the 9mm shield, it's snappy, grip is short,
for a pocket 9mm it will be nice, in 40 it's really
    got a snap

I have the Shield in 9mm, and it's a great shooter plus it shoots good groups.
