Tour pack remount

    I need to remount my tour pack , as cop bikes don't came with them not a kink size one I had a 2ft x 6in X 1/2 in aluminum plate/bar made mounts to clear the cop bag's opening & move it back 7/8 of a in counter sunk some holes to fit the head of the bolts & away we go

    some more of the ole handy work we cut it in 6 pieces on the table saw four longer & two short ones for the rear mount

    I'd round off the bottom edge of the front two bars to
    help keep you from banging the bag lids on a sharp or
    square edge...

    the front bars don't even come close to the bag lids has 3/8 in clearence where before the remount it had about 1/16 in ,& that was at the edge of T pack & edge of bag lid . I 've had it mounted for a few months now but need it moved back for extra room for the wife & up a little for her back all totol it came up about a 1/2 in & back 7/8 in she's happer now so I'll be happey as well :D:cool:

    No I made to stay on , just 4 bolts to remove it or just a few minutes
