I have an '89 883 that I would like to get running. Would it be smart to replace the vac slide for age, just to ensure it works correctly? The bike has sat for +5 hrs. and As far as I know the slide is original.

I have been running my inner-tubed rear Avon MKII, which is rated at 36psi, at 26psi with good results. I'd like to go even lower, say as low as 20psi. My wheel/tire guy says it's ok to do so with my rigid framed bobber that weighs around 400lbs. I weigh about 135. Wondering what some of you might think about this . . .

Hi all you computer wizzards. I've been trying to get my 2014 standard(not 6.5) radio to play music from a flash drive. I had it working once. Now it doesn't seem to recognize the usb device since I loaded a bunch of music on it. Wish I could just play all the CDs I had for the 09 bike, I know it's got something to do with how the music is loaded on the drive, maybe formating. The display just says reading if I sellect Media.

whhhoooowee yeah me! Man what a difference in the ride. Nite and day better that the stock bars. First off it takes what I consider the angle off the wrist. Stock mirrors up a smidge which is better as now I can see them in the corner of my eye instead of looking down. Arms straight out just shy of shoulder height. Much more comfortable. And I got 50$ off the price when I bought them.
