Recently got a 2003 Dyna Wide Glide. It is stock except has Vance & Hines Longshots with Big City Thunder baffles.
It ran good, but coughed thru the carb alot at light throttle, and took a long time to warm up enough to idle good. (had to use choke alot).
I knew it was lean! SO i ordered a Arlen Ness Big Sucker Stage 1 air cleaner, and The CV Performance Deluxe Stage 1 tune Kit!
Followed the instructions in the tune kit, Used all the kit parts, 48 pilot, 195 main jets etc.. Got it all back together without a hitch. 2 turns out on mixture screw.......... Took the bike for a midnight tryout.
All i can say is WOW! WHAT A DIFFERENCE.
Bike pulls like a horse thru all gears, and no more popping in exhaust, and no more coughing back in carb at stop signs, and light throttle blips.
This is my first Harley, and i'm happy with it now!
Thumbs UP for the CVP Stage 1 Deluxe Tuners Kit!
