Picky fine tuning perhaps: Air-Fuel mix.

    96 Fatboy, stock but for pipes and K and N air cleaner, stage 1 kit

    My second post in two years but I log in to get educated on occassion.

    Stage 1 Kit installed last year. 45 low and 180 high (will be installing 175 soon).

    Air Fuel mix is at 3 1/8 turns out. Starts up great, warms up pretty well, idles well and pulls hard.

    Pops minimally when backing off throttle when riding (not at idle). Post is to see if this is normal and "ok"..Instructions state that if pops to adjust air fuel out another 1/8. If I do then starts to get sluggish so I suspect that the instructions are referring to "idle" and that my minimal popping on road when backing off is ok..

    Sorry for the simple post, but perhaps will be useful to other novices, like me.
