I rebuilt the carb on my 2003 Sportster, Sport (XL-S). I have a spare part that I couldn't remember where it came from and couldn't find it on any schematic. I think the carb is stock equipment and appears to be a Keihin CV 40mm, but not sure because it only has a Harley Logo. The extra part is about 5/8" long 3 sided solid brass rod. The reason that I rebuilt it other than I've had it for five years without any carb work, is it would run good at first and after cutting off and restarting seemed to only have about half power, like running on one cylinder. It didn't seem to be electrical because running Seafoam through it had good results until recently. Appreciate any and all help.
