A friend of mine with a HD Rocker, has been drafted, goes to do military service for a year or so. I am thinking of getting him something to take along for his time in the military, something more biker related than local to here. Is there anything you guys are aware of from your days of drafts and going into the military that might be suitable?
Cheers

Ok, now that I am a pistol owner and I have purchased some ammunition, I am trying to verse myself as well as I can so when people are speaking I can at least follow along in the conversation.
I was on a site, one that loves guns way more than what this one does and is a bike forum, a person was talking about how dangerous reloads can be. Yes it has been mentioned here but no real detail was ever given. The guy was animated about how strongly he advised against using "reloads." One of the things that he pointed to as a potential issue was the bullet length. He had stated that a lot of times when bullets are reloaded that it they are too long which then reduces the "freebore" distance. My basic understanding thus far of freebore is that it is the distance from the chamber (throat) to...

Just rebuilt my CV carb, put a lot of the parts in toxic carb cleaner cans.
The bike starts good with choke on, warms up and push choke off, idle comes down,,,but the the bike starts loading up within seconds. I have been thru this carb 6 times in last 3 weeks checking everything, rejetting, new needles, new air screw and packing. ALWAYS the same loads up after 10 to 15 seconds of running....I am ready to give up and buy a new
carb....Any Ideas...Thanks

Pretty funny story. About "bikers" and how the shows on TV are way different from reality. Pretty interesting commentary also about how bikers use cell phones, internet, facebook and such.
