Here it comes again, boys! Looking forward to ten weeks of paid summer vacation from school starting next week. The academy is in the middle of exams right now and will finish up with those tomorrow. Baccalaureate on Thursday, graduation on Friday and bye-bye school year.
I hope to get in some fun riding this season and maybe a trip to Ohio in August.

Well while most of you seem to be working on your bikes in one fashion or another the wife and I along with Maddog went on a great chapter ride. Started out before we left with some minor sprinkles but then the sky cleared out and was 80. Rode through some very scenic area in the foothills of Washington County. Great ride with great friends. Topped it off with a great lunch and with sweet Montana cherry pie, dang that was good.
Glad you got in a ride today Joshbob nothing better than being intone wind.

I have a 81 FLHS, I have had it and rode it for 25 years, the 81'shad a flywheel balancing problem so they had more vibration than most harleys, things would loosen up and fall off all the time ( most of them were decorative items and I did'nt need them anyway ) but there were quite a few nuts and bolts that I had to tighten on a regular basis . No problem, if you have a shovelhead and dont want work on it get something else. 2 years ago I came into some unexpected money and decieded to have it rebuilt from the ground up including having the flywheel balanced, since I got it back I have had nothing but problems, everthing keeps coming loose, from the tanks, front end, motor mounts (top and bottom ) pipes, oil tank, outer primary, tappet guide, 2 of the cylinder bolts, gear case...
